Registration Deadline
Forms MUST be turned in and envelopes
MUST be postmarked by:
February 29, 2008
Any player trying out for
a high school team will be allowed to register after
the deadline provided they contact the Board (email
info@omgsoftball.org
or leave a message at 302-0591) by the Registration Deadline.
NEW FOR 2008!
- OMGS plans to
purchase netting to cover the snack shack and bleachers.
- OMGS plans to purchase new
equipment (bats, catchers gear, helmets, etc.)
- Girls will play in the
following age classifications they are eligible for
according to their birth date:
- T-Ball will consist only of girls ages
three (3) through six (6)
years old as
of Jan. 1, 2008
- 8 & Under will consist only of girls ages
seven (7) through
eight (8) years old as of Jan. 1, 2008
Girls age six (6) as of Jan. 1, 2008, will be allowed to
play
8 & Under if they have experience and with OMGS Board
approval only.
- 10 & Under will consist only of girls ages nine (9)
and ten (10) years old as of Jan. 1, 2008
- 12 & Under will consist only of girls ages eleven (11)
and twelve (12) years old as of Jan. 1,
2008
- Girls will be allowed to
play up an age group for 14 & Under and 18 & Under,
however they cannot play down an age classification
- Regular season coaches
will be selected by the OMGS Board after registration is
completed.
- The OMGS regular season
is scheduled to begin Monday April 7, 2008
and go through Thursday, June 12, 2008.
